Hello everyone!  We’re gonna be playing a free show this coming Thursday night at Grant & Green, and it just so happens to fall on Zachary’s birthday!  We’re playing four, count ‘em, FOUR new songs and it’s gonna be a blast.

In the meantime, we’ve been behind the scenes working like mad on finishing up the video entitled “An Introduction To The Greening,” brainstorming the final scenes for the “Thunderstruck/Thunder’s Truck” video, as well as starting to lay the blueprints for our upcoming cover of Beck’s long-out-of-print debut album Golden Feelings!  That’s right, The Greening is covering Beck’s Golden Feelings in its entirety, a la Beck’s record club.  Gonna rock.  That album is very adventurous, fun and open to interpretation and we’re looking forward to having some of our friends guest on some of the tracks.

Hello everyone!  Wanted to let our SF fans know we’ll be returning to the live stage, playing this Friday, August 6th at Sub-Mission Art Space.  Sub-Mission is located on Mission between 17th and 18th and we go on around 9:30.  Old friend Rich’s new band The SF Survivors is going to headline; Pegasus opens.  Did I mention the cover is only $5?  How about that it’s AN ALL AGES SHOW?!?!  Good times.  We’ve been rehearsing the hell out of a lot of new material, and will be doing “Kicking And Screaming” and Will’s (typically untitled) new one for the second time ever.  Come rock!

Other than that, much work continues behind the scenes on “Thunderstruck/Thunder’s Truck,” and Danny’s finishing up some animation for “An Introduction To The Greening” as well as making tons of progress on the “Don’t Have The Time” vid.  More news to come . . .

Hello all!  We’ve all returned from our respective vacations and have already been hard at work, rehearsing for an upcoming early all ages August gig at Submission and all around shaking-off-the-rust and such.  In order to dust ourselves off from our July R&R, we’ve recently blazed through

and of course Will’s two untitled newest songs, as well.  So far the first two rehearsals have been as a trio, but Zachary returns to the fold come Monday.

Will and I captured a bunch more footage for the upcoming “Thunderstruck/Thunder’s Struck” video after Friday’s rehearsal as well, and Danny’s “Don’t Have The Time” is currently approaching a minute of finished animation.  Another minute and fifteen seconds to go; we hope to debut it for you all here in late September!

In the meantime, preparation for album three continues.  Hope everyone’s enjoying the summer!  More news soon . . .
